Cortesi Gallery is pleased to present its collaboration with the Hockey Club Lugano to support the initiative Forza Lugano Forza, aimed at helping the club in this challenging moment.
The Gallery takes this occasion to thank the artist Francesco Carozza who has adhered with enthusiasm to the project by creating custom works for the charity auction.
The works will be exposed at our head office of Via Nassa 62, Lugano, until 10th May.
Following the campaign #ForzaLuganoForza that had involved several realities of the Luganese territory in the past months, Cortesi Gallery decided to promote an initiative favouring the Hockey Club Lugano in this particular historical moment marked by the pandemic.
With its spaces in Lugano and Milano, the Cortesi Gallery sells for the charity organised by the HCL society two artworks chosen for the occasion by the young artist Francesco Carozza that stand out for the immediacy of the pictorial matter and for their chromatic contrast that infuses energy and positivity.
The selling system will be a silent auction from today (3rd of May) until Monday 10th of May, where every fan will make his bid on the web page hclugano.ch/cortesi-gallery.
According to Stefano Cortesi, founder of Cortesi Gallery, the idea is to promote a sports club that acts as a centre of aggregation for the area, not only for the fans but also for young people directly involving through participation and sports training.
Quoting the artist Francesco Carozza: "I am happy to offer my works for this noble cause. Although I wasn't born in this city, I lived here for many years since 1977 and, as a good Luganese citizen, I am a fan of the Hockey Club Lugano”.
